Check before you paste

  • Make every additional criteria range the same height and width as the first criteria range.
  • Join comparison operators to cell references or date functions, such as ">="&DATE(2026,3,1).
  • Check whether dates, IDs, or status values are stored as text even though they look formatted correctly.
  • Trim hidden spaces before deciding a matching row is missing.
  • Check whether your Sheets locale expects commas or semicolons before pasting the repaired formula.
