Excel formula wrong result fixer
When Excel runs the formula without an error but the answer is wrong, the problem is usually hiding in the references, calculation order, stored value types, or lookup logic. Paste the formula, add one expected result, and get a focused repair path before you fill it down.

Use case
Help Excel users fix one formula that calculates a believable but incorrect result, especially when the issue is operator precedence, copied references, text-number mismatches, approximate lookup settings, or a source range that no longer matches the report.
Use this page when Excel is not showing an error, but the result is clearly wrong for at least one row. It is strongest when you can paste the exact formula, the result Excel returns, and the result you expected.
Do not use it as proof that an entire workbook is correct. A wrong result can come from source data, references, or formula logic, so test the repaired formula on a known row before filling it through a live report.
A total can look wrong when Excel follows normal operator precedence and multiplies before it adds.
=(A2+B2)*C2
The parentheses force Excel to add A2 and B2 first, then multiply the subtotal by C2. Without the parentheses, Excel evaluates the multiplication first, which can produce a different result while still returning a normal-looking number.
