Write My Formula sends formula requests, pasted formula text, and optional pasted sheet samples to the configured formula API so it can generate, explain, or fix formulas.

Stripe handles payment information for upgrades. Write My Formula does not store credit card numbers.

Browser local storage is used to remember guest trial usage and whether founding access is enabled on the current browser.

First-party analytics record page views and product events such as mode changes, example clicks, formula runs, copy actions, paywall views, upgrade clicks, and signup outcomes. These events do not intentionally store pasted spreadsheet text, generated formulas, or email addresses.

If you join the free account list, your email address is sent to the configured email provider so Write My Formula can send monthly product updates, capability notes, usage reminders, and upgrade options. You can unsubscribe from those emails.
